Leaks shouldn't count as "election meddling". Attacking state election systems is another matter entirely. Probably a lot more double voting, dead voting, and non citizen voting going on than any vote impact by a foreign government.

Leaks technically would in that it's an attempt to influence voters but that's a - I suppose I can say - good type of meddling in that what is being revealed is the truth. I want to know if a politician is saying one thing to the crowd and another to influential people privately.

Or if a political party is rigging the primaries, having news stories sent to them in advance for approval as well as other journalist collusion, etc... it's more damning than Romney-esque "47%" comments.
