I'll say this though. If a single dad has some coin and makes a good living, a good number of women are willing to overlook the fact that he's a single dad.

True but the difference is that single dads are way pickier than just single childless guys.

They would have to be. They've already got enough stress in their lives dealing with the child's mother. On the other hand, my best friend just finalized his 2nd divorce, he's paying $7,000 a month to his ex-wife in the form of alimony and child support for his 3 kids. He already has a new live in GF and she's a 23 yr old Bosnian nurse and he's 44. I'm not sure wtf he's thinking. He's just walking into a similar situation as the previous one.

I dated a single dad. I will try my best for someone, if they are honestly trying their best for me.

I’m more “straight to the heart, cut the bs” type of person now, so usually if a person stays with me in a relationship, it’s because they actually like me as a person, which means a lot to me.

I come from a background where I’ve always served others before myself, so I’ve never had a problem with working hard. The problem with an Olan type from Pearl S. Buck’s The Good Earth is finding any given man that will honor loyalty and dedication without replacing her down the road when she’s older and can’t bare children.

Such is life, I guess.
