Indeed, extremely interesting. Also interesting that they are WHG haplos predominant in some neolithic groups. Also interesting that Native I is also present in Scotland

Hunter-gatherers and early farmers were already mixing before indo-Europeans. Here is a EEF+WHG Sardinian

About 40-45% of Sardinians have I haplogroup!

It's interesting to note that besides the genetic similarities of the two areas, there are also ancient linguistic connections. In current Sardinian language and placenames there are still many traces of a pre-IE substratum related to Basque!

It's possible, the ancient Sea Peoples were probably connected with the Minoan world, the Shardana were even hired as mercenaries by ancient Egyptians.

A theory, for the moment: we have no samples from "sherdens" or "people of the sea", and if one day we will harvest and we discover that they are genetically "Semitic" individuals (sardinians are not, they are?), then this theory would be abandoned: the sherdens or "sea people" would no longer be the "descendants of the Sardinians".

Some people say that they were Semitic peoples, others "Anatolian peoples" (Anatolians farmers? EEF?), but: we do not know because we do not have any DNA samples.

Having samples could confirm or deny the uncertain origin of the "peoples of the sea" or "sherdens". We can only make assumptions. Sadly.
