Looks Spanish to me, don't know what you're talking about.
    5 Stages of Grief:

Denial: The initial stage: "It can't be happening." Maniot is on top of me.
Anger: "Why ME? It's not fair?!" (either referring to God, oneself, or Maniot perceived, rightly or wrongly, as "responsible")
Bargaining: "Just let me stay to post another day Maniot, please."
Depression: "I'm so sad, why are you picking on me Maniot?"
Acceptance: "It's going to be OK." There is always Skadi.

I know he looks Spanish for the most part but he has a small Dinaric component which makes him appear slightly Italian and this has been validated.

That "Dinaric" component (which can perfectly be Baskid instead) is not something rare in Spain.

Jesús España Cobo for the comparison:

Never said they are the same. It's just that sometimes, when mixed with other sub-races, they become indistinguishable. A similar result, phenotypicaly speaking, can be produced by a predom. med - dinarid mix and a predom. med - baskid one.

Apparently the Vietti surname originates in Piedmont.

I've met a couple of cases of people with an Italian surname (one from Galicia, another from nearby Serra da Estrela in Portugal) and both originated from Piedmontese monarchist families from what they've told me.

I remember that being "monarchist" was related to them ending up in the region. But I don't remember why.

I've checked other two names from families that I know here and both originate in Piedmont.
