Based on mine I'm a Celt that left for Central Asia with the Greco-Bactrians.

I thought I would get illyrian for being basically a balkan mutt lol but nope

Ancient populations are updated in my sig. The accuracy has improved somewhat over time but I'm still highly skeptical of the site overall. Even though I've actually got Norwegian ancestry, there's no reason why I should be plotting closer to Norwegians than British Isles populations. I read somewhere on the other mytrueancestry thread that the modern populations use the Eurogenes K15 calculator, which if true would likely mean the two calculators are separate. According to the reference population section on their site, Orcadians are roughly as closely related to Vikings as Swedes, which smells like absolute nonsense to me.

the modern populations for me are a bit weird considering my actual ancestry:

weird in the sense that it doesn't show anything of my Jewish side, or the fact that German and french show up more despite me being more British in ancestry then German or french by a lot
