I like the West Coast accent, but I haven't heard East Coast ones yet. What is difference between East Coast and their Western counterpart?

I made a recording in the "post your voice, say your username" thread. Sorry, I would dig it up but I'm on my phone and gotta log off. Overall, I sound pretty pan US, but the way I pronounce certain words, and also my cadence, reveals my geographic location I believe.

There are extreme examples that more clearly separate the East and West coast. West, you have 'valley girl' and 'surfer dude'. East you have the stereotypical 'New York' accent.

Either RP or New York-ish GAE, depending on where I am.

Probably standard "American" I.e something close to 12. If you ever speak to Anglophone Canadians (specifically in Montreal), it's something like that with a tiny foreign twinge.

Standard Persian English accent but I try to sound posh because I have dozens of British of friends and colleagues and I talk to them daily.
