Bilangual members of TA

I only know English, but for those of you who are bilingual would you say your personality differs depending on the language your speaking?

Not really.

But it depends on the person. I hardly get affected by manner of speech and switch easily from one language to the other.

i speak 7 languages and i undestand 9-10. i would say yes, u get a different mindset on each language.

I dont know i haven't thought about this but would guess that i use less words when im speaking English instead of Swedish.

While i speak Pomak, i feel like i'm talking like in a kind to rude way. On the other hand while speaking Turkish i'm more relaxed and more gentle.

I know two languages - Russian and English. (ok, I know Ukrainian and German to some extent, but this doesn't count).
My English is too straightforward and lacks the flexibility and beauty of a native speaker. For example, I do not understand American users well, sometimes I have to go to Google translator. I do not think that the straightness of my speech somehow prevents from identifying my personality type.

The only exception would be my poor japanese. Latin languages tend to be more agressive at all, while japanese have few if none bad words at all.

From Portuguese to Spanish still almost the same, to English either (just a bit less agressive but ok).
