This Polish volleyball player has what is consider light brown hair in Poland, it is the most popular hair colour in Poland.
This is already brown for us, but I think he falls inside light hair category (including light brown too).
All these 3 guys have average pigmentation for my ethnicity.
While this guy is already called ''blondyn'' in Poland.
These four Poles would be considered blond everywhere.

Yes, spending time in the sun can alter your hair colour, especially if combined with bathing in salty water (in the sea). I remember getting some blondish reflections / streaks in my hair as a teenager still in the summer and it lasting for a while. You don't need any tint or hair dye for that as long as your hair relatively light.

Not really but I guess this kind of argument is what thread was supposed to bring out. He (Mateusz Janikowski) is already obviously blond imo even if it may seem dirty blond. At least in Poland he passes as such. On the left you have light-brown haired man (Andrzej Wrona).
This is what is called dirty blond hair / fawn.

What is this hair colour according to you?
Light brown? Light auburn?

Does "blonde" differ by ethnicity? Majority of these people aren't blondes to me.
