I hear stories of how people lose weight because they were bullied into it. I realize that may work for some people. But overall, I think it's better to be encouraging of people to make healthier habits, rather than just gripe about what's wrong with them, or complaining about them taking up too much space in an airplane. While I totally despise and disagree with "fat acceptance", the other extreme doesn't seem helpful either. In fact, it's the fat shaming that seems to fuel the fat acceptance movement, rather than counter it. It makes people want to rebel and find more excuses to be overweight . It's total B.S. You're not going to bully someone into losing weight. Constant Bullying is what made me gain weight in school.
