Berlin's first vegan canteen for students opens

I'd like one of these vegan canteens where I live.

Veggie 2.0 is an experimental initiative of the Studierendenwerk Berlin, the state-run organisation governing student affairs. Its backers say they are responding to a growing trend towards veganism.
In a recent survey of 14,000 Berlin students, 13.5% said they were vegan, compared to just 1.6% of the wider population.

Considering it's Berlin, I'm surprised this didn't exist already.

Apparently some cities in Poland like Warsaw or Wrocław have, surprisingly so, a much better assortment of bars, canteens and restaurants for vegans & vegetarians.

Warsaw is apparently one of the best European capitals when it comes to it.

Got any statistics for what the % of Poland is Vegan? (I'm not Vegan btw, just in case anyone cares).

3,2% declare themselves as vegan or vegetarian. It is much more common though among the young generation and among those better educated. I'd say in my social circle it can be up to 10%. I am not a vege person but I sometimes eat out in some vege bars etc.

I'm not vegan either, but I like experience all kind of cuisines.

In the USA we call that a buffet. Why can't there be beef, chicken, pork also? Veggies are clearly marked so the veggie people can still get what they want.
