Would a ~5'3" girl be ok with dating a ~6'5" man?

5-3 is a pretty common height. I'm not sold on the idea that height was a major factor. It could have been incompatible personalities, future goals or maybe she has already fallen for someone else. A little bit more background would be helpful. How long have you known her?

knew her for two & a half years before asking her out, she did have other boyfriends in that time, but they all seemed pretty lame, which is why she broke up with them or vise versa. No I didn't just swoop in after one of these break ups, I waited a solid month. She thought it was a kind gesture but declined, still can't get my mind off her no matter how hard I try (a year later). I still see her every now and again, and I don't want to be biased and judgmental, but the guys she's with now is kind of lame too... Wish that was me every freaken time...

Black dudes? I hope that was a joke considering I'm 3/4 north European, and 100% Caucasoid. Maybe I'm ugly, go to my classify me thread and decide for yourself, and no she wasn't taken, I waited for the right opportunity, guess it wasn't...
