This was the worst thing that Stalin did by far. He is responsible for the single largest massacre in history, 27 million innocents killed in 4 years.

He is just about the worst scumbag who has ever lived. Only Mao is worse and Stalin more than deserved his end (much like Lenin deserves his). Both died in isolation: Lenin was locked in his mind and Stalin received no rescue when he lay dying on the floor as the guards didn't dare to approach him.
