    Default PIE Thunder God

The Kernosovskiy idol, from Late Yamnaya culture. Clearly a representation of Perkuwnos, the Indo-European thunder god prototype.

    How clearly?

I thought it was a burial for a elite noble and represents him?

The stele shows zoomorphic elements like a bull tail, phallic scenes and a phallus (Indra is a phallic god), the full body depiction of a bull (Indra and Zeus are both associated with bulls, Donar's debatedly so), a beard (omnipresent in IE thunder gods) and entire scenes of creation myths. The multiple maces that the statue holds may represent the thunder god's weapon (Vajra, Mjolnir, Perun's axe). Too many referrences to known cognatic Indo-European deities, and it was found in a open plain far from any burial.

Yamnaya's funerary dedication statues are very different and much simpler.

Every proud Indo-European should have one in their houses.

Sredny Stog Natalia Stele. Phallus and hammer, possibly a representation of the PIE thunder god but this one is not very clear.

I wonder if any of the Stele have a wheel symbol on them like the famed Gaulish thunder god Taranis with a lightning spear and wheel in his hands, who is long bearded and usually either naked or armored and riding a horse.

The first warrior stele has a beard and seems to possess an battle axe.

Perkuwnos? As in the Baltic Perkunas or is that the root name? I recall the Slavic one being called Perun.
