Which European phenotypes look the most "borderline" for Europe?

The problem is that a percentage of people, several users of this forum included have an idea that the typical white or European aspect, is the northwest, any strange appearance that does not match the phenotypes of northwest Europe, would not enter of their concepts of whiteness or Europeanness.

If we go by a demographic logic then some of the northwestern phenotypes are among the least common in Europe and they are the ones to be considered the exception (kind of intruders) among the whole European population therefore should never be regarded as the rule or the retarded standard of "Europeaness".

There's certainly a much higher population of baltoids and mediterranoids in the continent than of Nordids/Atlantids or whatever are considered the pure/non-exotic euro phenotypes according to the pre-conceived ideas of some users such as the author of this thread.

I agree, the ideas about this notion of "European look" are impregnated with nordicism to the core.

And why the measure is not number and geographic distribution? The more common that is a phenotype in the continent the more European it should be considered.

If non-European East Meds outnumber European ones, then yes East Med is not a European phenotype. Not to mention "European" East Meds are the most West Asian influenced Europeans. I've never seen a full blooded French, Ukrainian or Austrian who has East Med phenotype.

East Med isnt even a valid term- only used by Lundman and he said also Latvians have East Med (aka Pontid).
The term is used only for dubious looking Southeuros just because they dont have a posterboy Atlanto Med look (sometimes CHG and other stuff contributes to the look, but you cant say really for sure for very obvious reasons)
and than on Turks, Levant and other West Asians who can have a very varied look- sometimes being closer to West Med look too for example others into Orientalid direction...
Classification arent therefor very precise to determine such things really if someone is altered by East Med or whatever...
