I think people in the U.S. care more about culture and socioeconomics than race. Politics too probably.
I mean...even Trump appointed multiple minorities in his cabinet.

With that being said, I do believe it'd be weird for the Deep South to lose its black population, the Southwest to lose its Mexican American population, and upper New England/Pacific Northwest to no longer be majority White. That would just feel....out of place like the Twilight Zone. But it's not a huge deal.

All nations have a founding, and defining race or races. In America this is the English and natives, in Latin America it’s The Spanish/Portuguese and natives. For European nations it’s europeans and for Asian nations it’s asians

Depends whether the country is founded on civic or ethno nationalism. If there was a theoretical Assyria, then yes the Assyrians would define it.

I think I will misunderstood your thread but I've seen Cape Verdians here and they pass unnoticied amongst us, but when it comes to a Bolivian-Brazilian or a Japanese-Brazilian, they are seen as foreigner-looking individual even if born here.

Even if they're seen as foreigners, they are brazilians and are treated like one, just receive some nicknames and hear some weird questions more often.

What I dislike intensely is the corruption of the word "nationalism", in the context of multiracial New World nations in particular. Surely nationalism means a love of ALL a country's citizens, regardless of ethnicity and background.
