    My mother remembers of this dense/singing from childrehood.

    I think it's interesting how there is an east/west divide in dancing. Easterners tend to line up or hold hands in groups, while westerners tend to pair up or dance individually.

    The circle dancing whilst holding hands has a pagan ritual background originally.

    What i find interesting about the name Galicia is the resemblance to two toponyms in Macedonia. One being the touristic village of Galicnik, and the other being the Galicica national park. I wonder if there's a connection between them and the Galicia of Spain.

    I always found it interesting, comparing my family's dinner parties etc, with my Kiwi friends' families' dinner parties etc.. like fire and ice.
