Ok, so tl;dr.. I had to bicycle for a year and a half until I could buy a car..

One night, riding from closing up the bar on my bicycle, I wiped out. I was so pissed and promised I'd buy myself a vehicle (it was time).
I saved up the down payment and got myself the exact SUV with the color and specs I wanted.
When riding home from the dealer, a light tropical rain cloud came in with the sunshine and sprinkled over the land.
I was pretty dang happy... and damn proud of myself for being able to afford the vehicle I wanted.

Bicycling to work makes you feel all green & eco-friendly and stuff, but rain or shine, and avoiding maniacs on the road..
