Definitely they are not the same as Galicians or other Northern Spaniards.

They have more gypsies than elsewhere in the country besides that not by much, they have less redheads in their midst than say Galicians & Cantabrians on average which are pretty rare there too. Spain doesn't really have that North South divide like France or Italy nor are there higher concentrations of blonds or gingers in odd pockets. They're all more or less scattered.

I've been to Sevilla many times as I have an uncle that moved there, and yes in my experience people there are darker. Many northern spaniards could pass all the way up the Atlantic to the British Isles, whereas many of the Andalusians I've seen could actually pass for Egyptians.

I'd say no but ancient andalusians were probably more "darker" than northern iberians People in general tend to forget the celtic intrusion and the expulsion of moriscos ( after that andalusia was repopulated by northerners ) :

in comparison with three other samples from North-east Iberia :

Andalusia being darker than the rest of Spain is just a "romantic" mith... beautiful women with black hair, blah, blah. There is not a huge gap between north and south, in fact Andalusia was repopulated with nothern Spaniards during the Reconquista and even some areas were repopulated with Germans, Flemish, Swiss and Austrians during XVII and XVIII centuries.

I don't think these Andalusians are darker than the rest of Spaniards, these examples (actors, sport people, tv contestants, etc) are not the average type obvioulsy but from my own experience it's not difficult to find them in the deep south.

An Andalusian female boss that I had back in Spain (without pretending that she represent the Andalusian average) was very blond, pinkish white, and blue eyed, and had roundish and broad face with some CM influence. She looked like if she could be the sister of Donald Trump. I mentioned her before in this forum.

I'm pretty sure the consensus is that the darkest Spanish (most brunette) come from Extremadura, but I may be wrong.

Not by much, but that's mostly because many Northern Spaniards still look Mediterranean, not so much because of anything especially Celtic or Germanic about Andalusians.
