I will not debate about victims and numbers, 'cause even one innocent life is too much.
However, I find your OP wrong and misleading. No, not Croats, but Ustase were to be blamed. You can't throw mud at Croatians like that, it's simply unfair and untrue.
Many of them actively participated in national liberation movement and joined Yugoslav partisans, while some were even awarded the order of the National hero of Yugoslavia ( e.g.Ivo Lola Ribar).

On sunday after easter, there was a monk in my serbian-orthodox church here in austria. Talking about Jasenovac. I was not there though. I associate that with serbian nationalism though, yes jasenovac was terrible just like ausschwitz but nowadays it is misused by serbian nationalists and i suspect this monk was such a serbian nationalist. Thats why I was not there.

700.000 is a max number. The number of death never reached the million.
