Of course real Grand slam for East Finland is motor sports
Mika Häkkinen double F1 World Champion
Kimi Räikkönen F1 Champ
Keke Rosberg F1 champ. I add Keke here with asterix because I think his family has somewhat recent West Finnish (Finland Swedish?) origins. In any case born and raised in Savonia
Heikki Kovalainen, pretty shitty driver but managed to win one race
Next the rallydrivers

Janne Ahonen is from Lahti, which is East Tavastian city bordering Kymi-Karelia. I can almost reach out and grab him to join the good guys - but I guess I just can't. Name Ahonen seems also evenly spread throughout the country, so the family doesn't seem specifically eastern either. He shall remain with the bad guys.
However greatest ever ski jumper Matti Nykänen is deffo East Finnish
