I really don't know. I wish I could tell you because I think it's an interesting question, TBH. If I were to take a stab at it, I would say the British Isles and Central Europe has more pears than Scandinavia.

Maybe I could concede Britain, those women tend to be pretty buxom and shapely.

As for the French? Unlikely, Most French women have figures my Danish grandmother would call boyish, their Spanish cousins may be skinnier even. Although I have seen pear shaped Spanish women, they were considered frumpy(Llum Barrera comes to mind, who's about as desireable as Sarah Millican), their asses were still flat as boards too. Paz Vega and Anne Parrillaud have the bodies I associate with France or Spain given what I saw in the younger women, but there's always execptions.

a lot of it has to do with what you consider to be pear. Pear shapes are just where the fat accumulates (and narrow shoulders vs. hips), and doesn't necessarily mean frumpy or fat.
Would you say this woman is pear shaped?

    or this one?

The latter, if she didn't do as many upper body workout it'd be more blatant, whereas the other has more of an hourglass shape with her shoulders back (my mother had a similar in her youth, heavier Irish bosom though) and I never said pear shaped women were frumpy, but in countries like France and Spain(once known as one the skinniest countries in Europe) a woman with a pear shaped body was usually middle aged or odd looking if young, they were seldom ever fat but as common. I've been to South America, seen French Canadian women & lived in Puerto Rico, it checks out with their purest of descendants. An Anglo/Scots-Irish girl from TN tends to be shapelier than a white criolla from Uruguay.

Spain was the skinniest country in Europe? Well, fuck my life. I feel like I got the short end of the stick. And yes, I do blame my 2.7 SSA for this. The trouble I have with weight gain and my shape comes from my mother for sure. My father's family doesn't have weight problems. My dark AF 100% Spanish aunt is "fat" size 8. >.<

I think people here forgot what the textbook pear looks like.
What you consider a pear is actually a mixed type. The reference pear has narrow shoulders, a small (sometimes lacking) breast, a rather flat tummy, a pronounced waist and huge ass and thighs. It seems to me that pears grow evenly throughout Europe, as Mr. G. correctly noted above. Yes, I love this type of figure.
In my opinion, it is much worse to have big belly and tits with thin legs and skinny ass, than vice versa.

If her hips are hella wide, and she doesn't have a flat butt, then yes

thicc legs and buttocks is the most feminine thing I can think of (this pic is a prime example of the figure I really love)

well if the fat gathers at your hips, then your probably really pretty. I've never minded a girl with a little belly as long as she has some nice thighs and buns
