Yes, well, you just have to hold women responsible for their own choices. If she chooses to be with him, and she doesn't do anything about the abuse, then it's on her. I have little sympathy for women who don't do anything about their situations, especially nowadays with all the resources and the like. It's not like it was one hundred years ago, where certain subjects were taboo and women had a hard time finding help outside of the immediate family.

Abusers are typically manipulative people. I had to interview victims of domestic abuse while I was in school. They all had their own reasons for sticking around whether it was financial struggles, children involved, etc. but they all had the common denominator that the abusers are manipulative and conniving. They convince their significant other that they are valueless without them and the reason for their beating is their fault.
Sadly most of these victims stay around because they truly believe they are deserving of it.

It’s ok to do light beating because women don’t understand words and some like it really. But only slightly beating, with much care and love.
