same with Romania now - since 2020 it's estimated between 1.5 and 2 million people came back from abroad, which is huge and I don't know what they do now, maybe they started a small business or maybe they work, since we experience workforce shortage so badly that all food delivery in the big cities is done by imported Nepalese, Sri Lankans, Pakistani etc and in construction works you see Vietnamese. so if they come back they do find a job and with the situation now in Romania, which probably is the same in Bulgaria, much improved versus 5 years ago for example, they might even live better with a lower wage in Romania than they live on the outskirts of big cities in UK, Spain, Italy etc. at some point in 2019 at work I was in a 10-people team in which only 2 people, including myself, hadn't lived abroad ever and all the rest, 8 people, were returning Romanian immigrants that had lived from 2 to 15 years abroad
