Twitter suspends account which calls for ‘Eurosceptic voting’

Twitter has suspended the account of the deputy director of shock blog GeenStijl, accusing him of publishing misleading information about the European elections. The social media site has been cracking down on fake news in the run up to the May 23 European elections and has set up a special button where people can report wrong information. But Bart Nijman says there is no question about him spreading misleading information. In the post in question, Nijman says that he normally recommends staying home when it comes to voting for the European parliament. ‘But is time to give the drunken heads a populist bashing,’ he says. ‘So vote Eurosceptic on May 23.’

Shocking. This censorship is totally getting out of hand these days.

And yes, you're not missing much. I also don't use Facebook. Well Apricity uses Twitter, I'm surprised we haven't been suspended yet lol. We're probably shadow banned in a way that we don't get much exposure or something. Who knows. But the amount of people following us on Twtter seems to remain the same for a few years already now... which is strange. Same with the facebook page. Oh well, I don't care about the big social media. We have Apricity forum, which will not stoop to such ridiculousness.

Social Media should never be considered part of "Freedom", after all... social media is run by a Private Companies, and Private Companies are run by Political Parties, and Political Parties are run by the Powerful Billionares usually of NON-EUROPEAN origin like Arabs and Jews!
