Most of the pro-abortion people don't actually value human life above all else. They're quite happy (pretty much every single supporter, certainly every single state legislature in question) to support the death penalty even though 1 in 25 people on death row is innocent - no one denies this, the rate is supposedly 3.8%. But the deaths of the innocent is an unfortunate necessity for the executions of the guilty to continue. You might almost say that it's not convenient for them to preserve life in all cases in that instance, even though it would be cheaper to do so (ie, death row is more expensive than keeping all capital crime criminals in jail for life).

The death penalty is Biblical. Mostly, the death penalty is to prevent people who are a threat to society to ever be released back into the general population. And with DNA evidence, it isn't even an issue anymore. I also notice you did a Fruedian slip there, and you would be right. Pro-Abortion people don't value human life.

There are many, many biblical things you don't support or practise. I'm sure you eat shellfish, for example.
In Exodus God kills every Egyptian firstborn male, regardless of age or whether or not they had committed a crime, but I don't think you'd approve of me doing the same today.
You're totally wrong about DNA evidence. Again, the 1 in 25 stat isn't debated. It's accepted.

You're saying a majority of those put to death are innocent men, and that simply isn't true. In fact, it's incredibly rare that an innocent man would be on death row. They may spend life in prison, but I find these arguments rather patent and superficial. It's obvious that we need a death penalty- but as much as I do support it, I believe only in extreme cases. I'm against cruel and unusual punishment.
