    Default New Persian Empire?

Imagine Turkey and Iran uniting and re-creating one of the greatest and oldest empires that ever existed: Eranshahr (Persian Empire)

How powerful would it be in the grand scheme of things?

But not even Iran itself is fully Persian. We are a Irano-Turkic nation by culture and ethnicity. I am myself a Turk but Iran is my country.

Politically speaking, something like this already exists by alliance, buffer zones, areas of Influence. May be in future a smaller EU like zone will be created. Alliance is a better word yeah.

There are too many divisions(especially religious and ethnic) in the Mid East to allow such a thing to happen - not to mention the influence of the USA which I doubt would want a mid-eastern superstate to form that could challenge its dominance in the area. I could MAYBE see an Arab union forming, or an Iranic union(Persian, Kurdish, Tajik, Pashtun), or a turkic union(Turkish and Azeris)

    Turkey is Sunni
    Iran is Shia

That's why it will never work between the Turks and Persians. But It can work between the Kurds (Kurdistan) and Persians because of their common origin and culture.

Future is bright for Iran in future. Iranic revival in the region was surprising.

Iranian alliance is strongest as hell with Shiite Arabs. This alliance recently won wars in Iraq and Syria so its depth and strength has been checked. Based upon mutual respect I do not see this alliance getting weaker in future. Similarly, if USA does not meddle then Iranian hold over Afghanistan is ensured as well. Tajik-Pashtun conflict will be over if power sharing politics is adapted. I am also interested in another 220 million strong Nuclear armed semi Iranic nation on our east, Pakistan where ethnic change in favor of Iranics is happening right now. Same can be said about Pashtuns, Tajiks in Afghanistan. Tajiks are out breeding Uzbeks in Tajikistan. Kurdish breeding rate in their countries is higher than anyone.

I do not care about Khomeinists and Shahi and who kisses Aliyev's pics daily. I want Iranic plateau to revive itself to its former glory. When Persian empires conquered Levant and North Africa or Peninsula we did not humiliate or colonize those people. Level of respect was maintained. In modern times that can be manifested into strong alliances which are already happening.

Kurds and Persians are Iranic brothers.

Yes that was direct royal lineage.

Their other descendants formed regional dynasties till 11th century.

Surnames in Alborz range and Azerbaijan like Mazyadi, Kasrani, Darbandi, Dehqan, Mikali, can be a marker to some ethnic connection to Sassanian royalty.

I do support Iran as much as I do support Great Kurdistan. Iran is very important for me.

Great Kurdistan and Persia can become a superpower in West Asia. It can and should rival the EU in the West and India and China in the East.

We should call our hypothetical union, the Aryan Union. Any neighbour who wants to join our Union should join our Union, but with 1 condition that we never should change the name of our union which should be always called as the Aryan Union (the AU).

That ain't happening. Now Iran is most likely to control Middle East. They can be regional dominant power on their own. Unlike Israel which require constant assistance from US and have no hopes for political success in Arab world.

But Turkey won't be with them, it will most likely join alliance with Russia. Together they will keep solid grip on Balkans. Turkey controls Balkans already in economics but too much cultural animosity could only be resolved by Russian presence. Some 80% of Turkic world is present or former part of Russia anyway, their centuries old rivalry for same territories could be concluded in mutual management of these territories.

Obviously the Russo-Turkish alliance will have some presence in Middle East but so much as it doesn't compromises Iranian dominance. A new Kurdish state may be formed to create buffer zone.
