I’ve heard of a lot of cases where the AncestryDNA update was terrible for the tester. For example, a Nicaraguan guy I knew got 80% British and 20% Amerindian (he’s a mix of Spanish and native), my boyfriend barely registered as ⅛ Greek (although he got a TINY bit of Asia Minor/Caucasus). A relative of mine took a test recently and scored 100% northern European, but after I ran her kit through pretty much every GEDMatch test and her matches, she’s at least ⅛ Sephardic Jewish (probably by way of Portugal to England to the U.S.).
Am I the only one who’s upset with the AncestryDNA update?
