Have you ever heard for Kulize? They are large gruop of Serbian familes from southwestern Serbia, Kopaonik area and norteastern Montenegro who allegedly originated from medieval Saxon miners. According to some historians they are mix of Saxons, Serbs and Albanians and Kulize means mixed people, it derivated from one Latin word. For some familes who belong to Kulize is written in literature from the past they are serbified Kulize. Kulize celebeate Mratindan and Saint Mina, both slavas plus Miholjdan are typical for familes who once were Catholics and converted to Orthodoxy. Mratindan is actually Serbian version of Saint Martin.

No but i visited Brus (people there are of very Slavic stock) during 2013 and few villages in Kopaonik .My colleague from work invited me there because his native to Kopaonik with distant origin from Kosovo .I talk with several locals concerning the Saxon miners .They said that the almost all of left Serbia after finishing their tasks here .Few remained like doctor Šekler is direct descendant and surname Sasić or something like it .Anyhow didnt see many extremely Germanic looking people but Nordish and peripheral Nordid type do appear often among the youth in Brus and around since ive visited neighbouring Željin mountain as well .
