Emirates seems pretty good. Furthest places I'll be flying any time soon are Netherlands which is around 40 minutes, and Croatia which is 2 hours; I just take the cheapest airline I can get for such short flights. I'd like to visit Australia in the next few years though, and Emirates flies there I believe.

I think they do. It would give you a lay-over in Dubai but that's managable. If you want something exciting: fly Emirates to Bangkok and use Thai to get to Sydney. Best food I've ever had.

I haven't had a cheeky nandos in years, unfortunately. I remember it being pretty decent food but quite expensive for what you actually get. The butterfly chicken is a big boy ting tho ygm, proper peng munch. Maybe I'll give it a go sometime soon.

( Back then I used a different route though .. if my memories aren't playing tricks on me: Lufthansa to Frankfurt, Turkish to Istanbul and from Istanbul to Bangkok and Thai to Manila with an 8 hour lay-over in Istanbul. I HATE long layovers. But I have been using a lot of Emirates since).

I think that was 18 or 21. Because I have flown quite a few times so.. This could have been the 21er.
