In Slovakia and Czech a random woman on street and seller in grocery store seemed surprised that I don't answer to them in their language. That is my only experience on this topic.

In Eastern Slavic countries, I have always been unmistakably defined as an Eastern Slav.
Abroad, things are a little more complicated. For example, 2 local women in Barcelona could not determine where I am from. Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus. All but the truth.
In France, the owner of the apartment we rented said that I could pass for Dark Brit (as Alan Rickman/Dave Gahan hybrid).

I dont get guessed often. Im 30 years in Austria since 1990 but was guessed only a couple of times.

    I was guessed as

    1.Egyptian (once)
    2.Persian (once)
3.Turk or Kurd (a couple of times maybe 2-3 times more then once but not often, but sometimes in school or such rather insulted as "shitty turk" but they knew im not so not a genuine guess)
4.As muslim, well thats no ethnicity or race but still a mistake because Im not muslim and some thought I dont eat pork but I do
    5.Native Austrian (maybe 3 times)
    6. 2 times someone said they know Im a gypsy or asked me whether Im a gypsy

Usually people just ask where Im from which country after I introduce myself but dont guess me beforehand

It’s important to say, that on upcoming 8 April we will mark our national day. It’s disrespectful from Non Profit organisations to claim ,,international “ Roma day. We are one Nation, with one race for which we have paid huge price during WWII and with one language rooted to Hindi. We are the Romani nation. - Michael Daduc The Roma Nation Movement
Germany is showing us what could soon happen to us in Austria with a left-wing Austro traffic light. Do we want a situation where we can no longer choose the heating system, but we can choose the gender? Hardly likely! Only a strong FPÖ and a Freedom Party People's Chancellor will know how to prevent such nonsense. - Herbert Kickl FPÖ Bundesobmann

If you have faced this, has it been one reason/motivation of yours to do DNA test (honestly speaking)? To someway prove yourself what/who you're... no matter of other people opinions? And second question, if one faces this...by then what is more important in his/hers case: genotype or phenotype?

Some Europeans phenotypes (more easily) proves that you're European; do you keep them "better" because of that?

German(much too often to count) followed by Norwegian(about 8 times) followed by Swedish(about 5) followed by Polish(about 4), then Czech (just twice) and English but only once. In Puerto Rico, they very often, hilariously thought I was Russian before American so apparently I look too eastern for Anglo. I'll have to ask the Polish users about how little or greatly I'd blend in though.

When I am in Spain, no. However, when I was living in the US I'd get mistaken for Italian, Jewish, Cuban, Argentinian, Brazilian, Lebanese, Greek, Portuguese, etc, basically everything other than what I am, haha.

Not many Spanish - Americans in the US so I don't blame them nor does it offend me, its just interesting and funny.
