I have heard some wild guesses about myself as well. I have that regional face you know. I can pass in whole Iranian Plateau.

I’ve had someone accuse me of not being European lol.

I get told I look all sorts of things from Southern European to Levantine, Indian and even Latina which I don’t mind at all I think it’s cool. But to go as far as claiming me to be lying about my actual ethnicity is rather irritating.

I don't think anyone's ever cared about my background, but it's always amusing when people speak Spanish in front of me thinking I don't know what they're saying.

People can say anything. I would guess you Gracile Med from your pic. Do you have that southern European ancestry ?

Not often, and never in Poland. But other than that a couple of times for Czech, and for Ukrainian once or twice IRL.

That’s the only time I get offended.

My female cousin has been mistaken for Paki ... by Pakistani in UK.

She though gets tanned very well. And for French by local Britons.

23andme gives me roughly 3% Southern European haha

I used to date a British/African woman who was born in Kenya. Her father worked at the embassy but anyways, she swears that she thought I was "Welsh" for a long time. No idea where that came from.
