Anybody into programming ?

I want to start . I wanna learn web programming / Web design but also learn how to make bots and other programs . I was checking this page www.codeacademy.com and seems pretty good.

Any other tips you have for a new beginner ?

There is only one tip, have fun, are think later about own projects in programming, that would push you to do something and thats how you learn the fastest.
