Well I know Guangzhou has a large Black African population. However, to argue that East Asian cities (never mind the countryside) have anything like the ethnic diversity of many contemporary Western cities is preposterous.

N.B. The one real exception is Singapore, but I thought we were mostly talking about NE Asia here.

No one argues they do right now, but it's very possible they will one day; go a few generations back and West Europe was 99.9% European, and now we'll have several countries by mid to late century where Europeans will be a minority; it was only in 1965 where the USA ended migratory racial discrimination. Australia had a "White Australia" policy till 1973, and now has one of the fastest growing ethnic minority populations. Material conditions always change, as does culture; attitudes are relaxing and East Asia is just starting to begin taking in Afro-Asiatic migrants, it is where Europe was 50 years ago and it could very possibly be where Europe is now in the future.

Africa will be the only continent still producing people soon enough.

Indeed. Japan needs to replace the lack of young people with robots. A robot recepcionist will take the job of an immigrant. 1000 robots recepcionist kick out 1000 immigrants. About South Korea, honestly I don't have much knowledge.

Even Hong Kong, which is by some distance the most multi-ethnic city in NE Asia, is still 92% ethnic Chinese, with much of the remainder being other East Asians, especially Filipinos and Indonesians. Well precisely. Also, climate change might make much of Africa barely habitable and desert-like anyway. Therefore, it isn't like those countries can carry on growing exponentially.

Depending on the country that is a bit of an exaggeration. Scandinavia f.e. would've been very homogeneous, but on the other hand many British and French cities had thousands of Black people even in the 19th century.

Only a handful of countries have such birthrates. Even India, which in many regions is just as poor as Africa - and certainly would've been so a few decades ago - there are now some states with below replacement rate birthrates like Kerala.

Sub-Sahara Africa is getting worse not better in certain countries; I can't see them modernising anytime soon.
