Default African Admixture In Latin Americans

This has been scaled to 100%, I only did the Southern Mexican one while the rest I got them from FelipeFont who specializes in the African history of the New World

Please note that I am still putting more samples in the Southern Mexican spreadsheet so it might change a little bit but not by too much

    Southern Mexicans:
51.3% West African (Almost exclusively Senegambian & Guinean)
    28.8% Central & Southeastern African
    1.5% Northeastern African
    19.4% Broadly African

The Broadly African is high but from the spreadsheet FelipeFont made that included African groups, the only ones with a high Broadly African has been certain Central African groups and almost every South and Southeastern Africans. The Northeastern African has been popping up in Fulani people which would make sense given their history and genetics.

If we include those two components in their correct category, we get this for Southern Mexicans

52.8% West African (Including Northeastern African)
48.2% Central & Southeastern African (Including Broadly African)

    Wolof
"The Wolof people are a very dark skinned, tall, proud, regal-looking people. They tend to be lazy about learning other languages, and have a domineering and contemptuous attitude toward their neighbours. and are very ethnocentric. Open sensuality is part of their lifestyle."

    Fulani
"Light-skinned with curly hair, the Fulani have pointed nose, thin lips, and slender statue (Stenning 1959)"

    Mbundu
I couldn't find anything on them

    Brazil

    42.4% West African (Mostly Nigerian)
42.9% Central & Southeast African (Mostly Congolese)
    0.3% Northeast African
    14.4% Broadly African

    Adjusting those percentages

42.7% West African (Including Northeastern African)
57.3% Central & Southeastern African (Including Broadly African)

Brazilians seem to be a mixture of Angolan, Yoruba and Mandinka

    Yoruba
They were regarded as the most intelligent slave population in the Americas and even till this day they have the highest number of university graduates of Nigeria. They are the African Americans of Nigeria when it comes to talent and sports.

    Mandinka

    Mbundu
I couldn't find anything on them

    Dominican Republic

73.6% West African (Mostly Senegambian & Guinean)
17.8% Central & Southeast African (Mostly Congolese)
    0.2% Northeast African
    8.4% Broadly African

    Adjusting those percentages

73.8% West African (Including Northeastern African)
26.2% Central & Southeastern African (Including Broadly African)

Dominicans seem to be a mixture of Yoruba, Akan, Angolan, Wolof and Mandinka

    Yoruba
They were regarded as the most intelligent slave population in the Americas and even till this day they have the highest number of university graduates of Nigeria. They are the African Americans of Nigeria when it comes to talent and sports.

I thought most black imput in brazilians came from Angola (a long portuguese colony) and Senegal (next to the portuguese base of Cabo Verde). I´m surprised about this.

The Mandinka are found in Senegal and they were one of the biggest slave groups
also almost all of the SSA culture of Brazil is primarily of West African origin, from the religion, voodoo, dances, music, words, food
    so im not really surprise

well this is not about what states have the most African influence population
this is more about the type of Africans each region received

I will be working on the European ancestry and scale it to 100%
but that will take a while, doing spreadsheets is very tiring

And how are those from Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador?
Argentina, Chile and Uruguay have a SSA mixture almost non-existent.

I would try to see at Brazilian blacks who returned to Africa, mainly Angola. They thrived

Argentine and Uruguayan mestizos have 1-5% SSA, similar to Mexicans
Chileans are the ones with almost non-existent SSA

but anyways, these are Colombians, Venezuelans and Ecuadorans

So pretty much, Colombians and Ecuadorans from the Andes and Pacific are more West African with minor Central African
Venezuelans are also more West African with minor Central African
while Colombians from the Caribbean are more evenly West and Central African (similar to Southern Mexicans)

so this pretty much proves that the only Latin Americans with a high Central African heritage are Brazilians and Mexicans

their West African heritage also seems more different, having ancestry from Sierra Leon, Ghana, Nigeria with minor Angola and Congo
