I’m not knowledgeable enough on Balkan Slavs to have any genuine input so I’d have to say African Americans

Culturally, quite a lot. I think the Midwest is the easiest region in the US for Eastern Europeans (not just Balkanites) to integrate in.

I have nothing in common with people from the Balkans except race and plenty in common with black Americans.
