People want to avoid the appearance of being racist.

The heartland's no stranger to Slavs be they Western or Southern. In the earlier half of the former century they largely still had their little ethnic enclaves and by now have clompletely blended into the wider nation whereas blacks remain a nation within the nation, with less reasons. The answer for me was obvious, I'd sooner move into some Croatian trailer park if such a thing existed.

It's whites who consume more rap because there are more whites than blacks consuming music in general in the US. And it's absolutely certain everyone would rather consume some other type of music if the industry wouldn't push for the lowliest garbage they can sell.

I need more information than what you googled in images. I need a source and how traditional sales is defined. A red flag is when you spoke of radio. Music on the radio station is literally almsot dead. So I need more from you before I can say you're right and I'm not going to bother at the moment looking up the information myself.

I have no issues with Slavs or Balkanoids. I would prefer a Slav or Balkanoid right off the boat over a Black living next to me just to avoid a drop in property value, for fuck's sake. But that doesn't mean that Balkanoid right off the boat is going to be more familiar to me than a Black guy who has lived his entire life here and a big part of affinity is familiarity.

There are some extremists on both sides, but they are a vanishingly small minority. You can meet more here than by living in Transylvania.

There have been historical frictions between these two communities, with the creation of the national states, but we are way past that time. The reality is that many Transylvanians have mixed Romanian and Hungarian ancestry, many of which are not aware of it.

To give you an idea of the current trend, in the Cluj county (the capital of Transylvania), for the decade between 1992 and 2002 (this is what I found first) 77% (!!) of the Hungarians' marriages were with Romanians. It is true that in the Szekely parts mixed marriages are rare, but that's because few Romanians live there.
