Eres un idiota I have never claimed I have been all over Mexico only Jalisco and Zacatecas including Guadalajara and several pueblitos for both states im a first generation mexican American and I actually spend some childhood years in GDL.

Compared to 1850:

Southern Mexico - 3,782,220 inhabitants (49%)
Central Mexico - 2,956,271 inhabitants (39%)
Northern Mexico - 928,057 inhabitants (12%)

there is Northern, Western, Central and Southern Mexico


Some of these are not Southern Mexico, example

Tlaxcala territory - 80,171

In fact north Mexico has grown its population because the inmigration of southern people, not european one (this went to Monterrey during the XIX and the beginning of the XX century, but Monterrey it´s not all northern Mexico, and the population impact of the southern inmigration is way bigger in the region)

As many maquiladoras installed in the northernmost cities of the countries (Ciudad Juárez, Mexicali and Tijuana specially), other cities became important national-industrial poles (La Laguna region and Monterrey thankt to the steel factories, for example) and in the last two decades Baja California Sur has become an important touristic place (has even a ATP tennis tournament in summer) because Acapulco is now beaten by the narco violence, all this atracted many workers from the impoverished south.

Also many whitish people from northern Mexico began to inmigrate in mass to the USA after the Mexican Revolution that began in 1910, that kicked strongly the zone. Mexico had 15 160 369 inhabitants in 1910, in 1921 had 14 334 780 inhabitants; we must take into account that this was an age of strong demographic growth, the historians calculate that between 1,5 and 3 million people died. So the people begann to fled in big numbers, and this inmigration of northern people continued during decades after the Revolution.

Northern Mexico is way less white than one century ago.

This is how I know you have never lived in Mexico, because everyone knows that most immigrants for example in Tijuana are from Michoacan, Sinaloa and Jalisco
Most immigrants in Monterrey are from Tamaulipas, Coahuila and San Luis Potosi
