Deserved IMO. Felt so bad for Lundvik though, seeing his face drop when his televote results were announced.

Also, did anyone else catch Hatari waving the Palestine banners on air? I wonder if they'll make it out of Israel alive tonight.

    Congratulations to Duncan!
He deserved it. I'm quite happy that an actual European with quality music won the contest.

I only heard a couple of performances. I thought our song was nice and I liked Australia.

I'm happy for the Dutch, the boy was pretty gifted. I was mighty happy to see Italy giving it's 12 points to Denmark not even fucking Iceland did and it was a rather sweet song. I was also amazed to see a joiker not be a bad omen for the Norwegian entry. Good on them to not let their 1980 stunt spook them.

I was waiting for them to do that honestly, they made it clear from day one. They wanted to antagonize Israel.

The Danish entry wasn't bad IMO, it just felt a little saccharin and sweet for my taste. I guess I can't really talk though, since our entry was horseshit and came dead last. My favourites of the evening were Iceland, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden. I expected Australia to do much better than they actually did - earlier today betting agencies predicted them to have the second highest odds of winning the entire contest, behind the Netherlands. Not entirely sure where they finished in the end, but I can imagine it wasn't what they were hoping for.

I knew they were strongly anti-zionist, but I'd heard they'd actually been warned by the EBU not to pull any stunts or give any controversial answers in interviews, or else they'd face severe repercussions - so I genuinely didn't expect something like this to happen. On the one hand, I respect their bravery for standing up for what they believe in, but I just can't help but feel like this was an incredibly stupid move.

Well deserved for the Netherlands. Congrats!

Once again the jury taking Sweden to where it dont deserve. Funny to see his face though.

Felt so bad for the Aussie angel. She deserved more, a place among the top 5.

UK in last place. Brexit will happen now for sure.
