Illyrians are Celtic-like people who lived East of Celts (Pannonian Plain), they lived primitive lives like Germanics, Celts etc.. they became relevant after Romanization somewhere in 0 A.D. period

I'd say Rome, both because of it's empire and how that served to bring together the originally disparate religious and philosophical ideas, statecraft and nations that constitute the West.; and because of it's later significance with respect to the Catholic Church and Italian contributions to our civilization. There's a consistency and central relevance to Rome across time that is lacking in the other contenders.
