Don't underestimate secular and liberal Iranians, they are more than happy to turn against the Ayatollahs with American help and I could see that happen in the future. It depends, I've seen enough shilling for war against Iran among western people (especially among Liberal right wing people), they see it as a war against Islam and would love to see that happen. And even if the citizens of the west don't wanna go to war, it is not upon them but upon their governments.

Yeah, I've seen those idiots too but they don't really represent the will of the people. You're absolutely right that it's up the the governments of the countries of the west too but I don't think those governments do a great job of representing the will of the people either.

Jesus did you even read the story or the tweet. Look Mort fancies himself a victim, he views the USA as Troy or Chad the good looking guy. He thinks the Iranian dictators are good guys. Trust me Mort would slash your your throat and take all of you money if he could. Iranian dictators are no different than Chavez or Castro.

Iranian dictators are not "good guys" but they are also not our business. We shouldn't be involved in the ME. In fact, one of the reasons I voted for him was because he was a war skeptic. There are reasons why I'm unhappy with him.
