At school, my height was considered normal, but suddenly in 2019 I realized that I am a dwarf among the younger generation! Many girls are already taller than me! Why those who were born in the late 90s and early 2000s are so tall is a mystery to me. And their parents can be quite low height. The version about good nutrition does not fit, I myself ate relatively well.
It is good that I am already old and no longer participate in these monkey games. I'm 6' 0'' (183 cm).

I am 188 centimetres tall ... but actually all boys / childhood buddies born in the 90s from my street are taller than me save for one who's maybe 175 centimetres tall (6 guys), the rest is 188 -193 centimetres tall. Their parents are of average to slightly above average height mostly. Younger generation is taller.

It all depends on what you inherit genetically. I don’t think it’s a “newer generation” phenom in general. My father’s uncle is a head taller than me and I’m your height for example

I'm not very tall and for being of Northwest Euro stock I'd probably be called a manlet. That said I never had any trouble attracting women in my life, even some slightly taller than myself.

Overall though I feel bad for any man that believes his quality is defined either by what women think of him or his ability or lack thereof to attract women. I've seen countless examples of women attracted to what I would call low quality men....criminals, crackheads, child molesters, morons, and so on. It's been frequently pointed out that some of the mass shooters and terrorists, after committing their deeds, find themselves suddenly the romantic interest of numerous women.

This is why arranged marriages, chosen at the behest of wise fathers, is probably the best system for both a stable society and eugenics. This system was in place by most traditional patriarchal societies and all successful civilizations of note have been patriarchal.

Though on height itself, I always think of Richard Wagner...a mere 5'5/166 cm and of a magnitude of genius greater than any tall man I've ever known.
