Spread on Urnfield + Hallstat/La Tene culture included modern Kajkavian region

Based on history and genetics main element of pre-Slavic inhabitants of Kajkavian regions was Celtic which can explain different clustering of Kajkavians compared to other Croats who are mainly Slavo-Illyrian hybrids.

Kajkavian Croats have lower I2a than other south Slavs (around 20%) heightened r1a, and most of the I2a they have is din north; which is exactly the same as Slovenes. If it wasn’t for Ottoman Dalmatian migrations north which would of slightly south shifted the genepool I think Kajkavians and Slovenes would be identical genetically.

I saw more of both Western European and Slavic admixture in the Kajkavian-speaking Croatian kits that i've put my hands on.

Prekmurje dialect of Slovenian is closest to Croatian Kajkavian dialects.

Look at the K15 PCA I made, they form the same cluster. And you're correct. Only difference is stronger German influence in Slovenes due to their history, but those differences are slight.

IMHO Kajkavian Croats could be considered part of extended Western Slavic cluster.

    ^^^^^^

What is that? Map of NDH?

Croatian language in whole BiH to the Drina river and border with Montenegro. Nice fantasy.

Are you aware that Croatians are only 15% of BiH population?
