I remember in a waiting room a Polish handyman wearing a face mask talking to the reception. He had to repeat himself because he was speaking Polish-accented English when everyone else was speaking in Dutch and with a serious face he pulled his mask down looking like a moron so he could 'communicate better'. He did it with an air of 'let the Polish handyman solve this conversation and make this short'.
Is this an example of why the Polish stereotype is that of stupidity? It was really like a reconstructed Polish joke.
