The area of Kielce has been inhabited since at least the 5th century BC. Until the 6th or 7th century the banks of the Silnica were inhabited by Celts.

    There are some significant differences.

But I will give you my detailed answer tomorrow as I want to give you my well-balanced insight in this utterance .

I guess my grandpa is a pure-bred Celt then.

But seriously speaking, areas all along the Vistula river are the most specifically Polish in customs etc.

I assume you mean Polish cuisine, not our gastronomy as a whole.
It is tasty, but often stodgy & fatty, full of fried meats, and recipes for patties (pasztety) and kinda lacking in vegetables. Also plenty of
dumplings (kluski śląskie, pierogi ruskie, leniwe, pyzy, knedle etc.).

    It is rather unhealthy.

The main differences are in the line North-South (albeit I'd not call it a big difference on some general level), you will find more yellow-blond hair colour and even more light eyes there (and Poland in general is mostly light eyed) but you can walk for a while not passing a single brown-eyed person like me here or there (I can confirm from some of work & touristic related trips). So generally might progressive depigmentation. The difference you can also notice if you look at some class photos for a while and focus your attention, the same also is true for some lower league sport teams from far-removed location as these are consisted of local amateurs.

There's a thread started by me about some specific looks for one region of Poland.

    https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...or-look-for-it

This dude has a pretty characteristic look for Polish highlanders. Not very common, but it would be rare elsewhere and it screams that he's a Góral from the southern parts of this red-painted region.

Górals have. There are well documented records of Vlach settlements / migration there, mostly in the late 15th century (~1470) continuing till the end of the 16th century.

I bet that also some people in Sanok area more to the Southeast who are not ''góral'' also have a lot of it.
