Antisemitic hate crimes rose by 20% in Germany last year, according to interior ministry data, which blamed nine out of ten cases on the extreme right. There were 62 violent antisemitic attacks, compared to 37 in 2017.

In Hungary, the nationalist government of Viktor Orbán has repeatedly been accused of anti-semitism, particularly in its campaigns against the financier and philanthropist George Soros, who is of Hungarian Jewish origin. Orbán has always denied the allegations and pointed out that, on the whole, Jews living in Hungary feel safe, unlike many living in western Europe. He has also criticised western Europe for accepting refugees and migrants from Muslim countries, claiming they bring antisemitism with them.

And for once, I agree with Orban.

In Germany specific the rise of Antisemitism is easily explainable by allowing a million Syrians entering the country, Syrians are the most anti-Semitic people on the planet and I've never seen a Syrian who doesn't hate Jews.

Wouldn't have anything to do with a bunch new West Asian imports now, would it? A good chunk of the these people were brought over to Germany by a guilt ridden populace as well as largely at their behest, be they religious leaders, I saw so many rabbis guilt tripping people over this 3 to 4 years ago almost weekly, or secular intellectuals and lo, now they cry persecution. The justification often being "they don't wanna be the odd ones out". If the Jews, want a chance at garnering any credibility they should just start disowning these people, that really do more to fuck them over than help. What ends up happening is you bring people with an aversion to all things Israel and have bad blood with Jews on account of how they mocked the prophet or some other stupid shit, they make life significantly harder for people in the host nation building within them a resentment toward Jews that otherwise wouldn't have been fostered. That'd be a match made in hell for them, but let a country like France, which has had a massive exodus of Jews, tell Hungary how they'll be most safe.
