No one implied that it was as widely-spoken as English but it doesn't detract the fact that Portuguese is one of the major languages of the world. Brazil being the ninth-largest economy of the world is already wealthy and powerful, only needs to be more well-organised.

I don’t think his suits collection ruined romanian’s economy ))) in a totalitarian regime u cannot call the ruler corrupt...he behaves like a medieval king anyway, everything belongs to him, but corruption is something else. I speak romanian, spanish, Italian, Portuguese, russian, english, french, napoletano (if u wanna count it), i do understand 100% every other latin dialect including catalan, i understand pretty decent ukrainian and bulgarian and a bit of other languages from the turkic group

italian not to difficult,portuguese very latin on paper,but awfull by ear,spanish well not so hard but you need some bases,romanian a bit far from french,seems very latinised but i think i could more or less understand some basic sentences,but where i'am out it's with the cyrillic my neuronal plasticity have some limits

it's a very special word from old french ,very local, than we don't use it in the north,from "teste" who became later "tête" from the latin testa meaning head for our anglo readers who don't cope a damn shit of the romance languages
