Default Controversial Turks are lighter then Greeks?

My mum watches both Turkish and Greek TV shows. And yesterday I saw a Greek TV show before I often saw the turkish shows she watches. I was shocked at how dark all the greeks were. I didnt expected that. But I watched only 5 minutes of the Greek show. I dont watch my mums shows only some minutes when im in her room. The turks in their shows are lighter then what the greeks have been.

Turks are more varied and I think Turkish actors are whiter than Greek actors from what I have seen. But I don't see a large difference between the two in terms of pigment of the general populace.

I think light featured Turks are quite popular in Turkey, hence why the majority of the actors and actresses look a certain way. Although that usually goes with countries South and west of Turkey too.

    Ooh Goddamn!

I think I've gotten glimpses of those Turkish soaps you're speaking of.
I wouldn't go so far but Turks do have a good eye for casting those. Lots of pretty people, there's a lot of contrast there, that's for sure.

Turkish are mostly European and Semitic so they aren't as dark as real Turkic people, but Turks look generally more Arab imo, they look Lebanese or Druze a lot of the time.

Can thumbs me down, but that doesn't change the facts. Turkish is a culture and language, being different in origin from other Turks doesn't make you less Turkish.
