Why did Central Asian Turks settle in Anatolia and why did they mix with the natives
Why? They should have gone to Iran instead its much closer.

Turks did go to Iran? Iran has many Turkic people, most populous being Azeri. Persian dynasties were Turkophones since Ghaznavids untill Pahlavi era (20th centuru)

My history might be a little fuzzy, but the original turks entered Anatolia in around the start of the 2nd millennia but by this time the Seljuk turks were already controlling Iran. a couple hundred years later the mongols came in and established the ilkhanate to control Iran for some time but I believe they left the Anatolian Turks, who already had a history of autonomy under the sultanate of Rum, as a vassal state rather than direct holding of the mongols. And most of the turks from the conquered Persian provinces migrated to Anatolia to rule a bunch of Turkic fiefdoms in the region, eventually they consolidated under the ottomans to form the new ottoman empire.
Summarized:Turks were already in both Iran and Anatolia, but the Mongol invasion either killed most of the turks in Iran or pushed them out to Anatolia(especially western Anatolia)
I am a history minor but I only have peripheral knowledge of Anatolian/persian history, so I might have gotten some details off, someone correct me if I did please.

Because they were conquerors and conquered large swaths of land. The turk empire stretched over 3 continents.

The Mongols were going to conquer Turkey but they got rekt by the Mamelukes before they ever got that far, they wanted to take them out first but ended up getting fed lunch by Saif ad-Din Qutuz an Adyghe Sultan. The Mameluke's were much more powerful at that point, it wasn't until the French knocked them off that the map that Turkey was allowed to regain territory south of the Levant again.

The majority of Turkish people are Semitic and European, only 15% are Asians, so chances are your ancestors never settled anywhere, they have been there since the stone ages. Or were brought from Europe and the Middle East by the Natives.
