How different would the world be if the Spanish had not discovered America?

Chinese explorers and traders did visit the Americas just not in large numbers and never thought to colonize it. Maybe it happens eventually if Euros never bother but I doubt it.

Not sure if you are aware but in the century XV Spain and overall Portugal had the most advanced technology to do such things. Spain sent ships for the entire world like now USA sends rockets to the space.

Spaniards changed the world as nobody did or will do. The meeting betweeen Spaniards and Indians have been the most similar thing to a meeting with aliens.

The Chinese sended, decades before Colon, a huge expedition to Africa led by Zheng He.

But they didn´t continued with their attempts, stopped the discoveries, and became an isolated country by own decission.

Very wrong. Only North America and the southern cone would be in that case, since for being temperate latitude lands they would have massively populated them, but much of the rest would have been full of blacks like Jamaica. The highlands of Peru and Bolivia would Have been about the same as today, but with a minority of English descent people. The Colombian and Venezuelan highlands would probably have many white Anglos, but most of the lowlands of Colombia and Venezuela would not be very different from Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago, and the Colombian and Venezuelan llanos would be a mix of blacks and Amerindians, with some few "vaqueros" here and there of full or partial British ancestry.

Latin America wouldn't exist, maybe North America as well, a lot of developments of modern culture triggered by the discoveries in the New World would not exist, the world economy would be totally different and a good portion of world population would not exist. I'm answering as if no one else would have discovered the Americas.

The Portuguese were the only ones with enough technology and means to reach and settle America in early XVI century, but they had a tiny population and were occupied with the conquest of Asia, so nothing would happen. Likely they would visit some parts of Mexico and kill a lot of people through diseases, but then the local population would develop immunity to these same diseases if the Portuguese didn't attempted to conquer their cities so the Indians would be resistent to diseases and would never be conquered.

Non-Spanish settlements in the Americas only started to become significant in the XVII century, especially after 1650. Even the Portuguese who had formally recognized territories in America (in agreement with Spain) only started to settle Brazil en masse in the 1700s.

Sure but they would probably exterminate south americans like they did in north america so I am not sure if it would be better.

British only made good countries when they immigrated there massively (USA, Canada, Australia, NZ) and made failed states when they did not (Kenia, Jamaica, India, Egypt, Tanzania, etc etc etc etc).
