Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.
Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.

^ Actually: let's be frank about it. The cities are in a ghastly state and Merkel is quite active in destroying the rest as well.

Yeah, That much I can concede however, I fail to see how Sweden's an idyllic country by comparison with only a fraction of what Germany has as its population and I'd be lying if I told you that there aren't factions in Norway and Denmark that see eye to eye with their suicidal outlook.

To say that Germany isn't in a terrible state (or our own country) would be a blatant lie. I mean.. I understand that some people suffer from the boiling frog syndrome - but keep your eyes open - you can see it the streets, in the state of the infrastructure, in the systems that no longer seem to function.
I mean .. I get it: every time when things went well for Germany they always end up in some psychosis and they start harming themselves (and, due to their sheer size, everyone else around them). I am not sure why this is (the Swedes suffer from the same collective mental illness), but, for heaven's sake, they should snap out of it. It's like having a brother that's always slicing his wrists.

Let that be our problem then. And I do live in a city.

Your problems have a bit of a tendency to become our problems. You know.. this whole European Union thing and all .. your self-harm could easily blow up this fragile peace we've been building up for the last 70 odd years. Not that I am a fan of the EU (screw 'em) but I kinda like the idea of having no trenches ruining my yard. It's bad for the roses, you see. Remember what happened the last two times around (I mean: the last century alone.. I am not even talking about further back) you got yourself worked up in such a psychosis ? I think most of Europe still remembers (including you yourselves so if you would stop cutting your wrists for more than five minuts and understand that what happened happened - you'd see us all breathe a sigh of relief) So, I guess, most of your neighbours and, particularly your little brothers and sisters here in the Low Countries, would love to see you Germans sort your shit out (for once !).
Enjoy your wealth and your well-being. You worked hard for it. Now don't feel guilty over it. Your well-being is important, you know. For both of us. So from one sibling to another: get well soon, Germany. Real soon.
